Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn is considered by most fans as the defining ‘Trek’ film, paying tribute to the original series, with the perfect mix of character development, action and humor. 

Star Trek II marks the only time in history that a feature film was made as a sequel to a TV Series episode.

Star Trek: First Contact brought The Next Generation crew up against the villains created for that series, The Borg, which had grown to become fan favorites in the ‘Trek’ universe.

An understandably nervous Chris Pine sent a letter to William Shatner after Pine was cast in the role of James T. Kirk, and even received a reply from Shatner giving his approval.
