Wireless headphones

After knocking over a cup of coffee while working at my computer and remembering the numerous times my headphones were ripped off my head when trying to pick up a piece of paper, I decided it was time to purchase a set of wireless headphones.

So, I typed best wireless headphones into the computer search bar. I was pleased to see quite a few bests of lists. Instead of setting a price limit, I decided to look for the best manufacturer. I looked at the lists watching out for a list that may have been influenced by a particular company. For instance, I came across one list where a particular company was in the top 3 positions.

Best Overall: Jabra Elite 85h

What I found was a company that I had never heard of on most of the lists. On each list, the quality of the sound was noted as the standout feature. That company was Jabar. With a little research, I found that they are a Danish brand specializing in what else, audio equipment. Their headphones sell at various price points so I could choose how much I wanted to spend. At the time of writing this, the Jabar Elite 85h was priced at $200.00 on Amazon.

Runner-Up, Best Overall: Sony WH-1000XM4

What was interesting, unlike the Jabar where many models showed up on best-of lists, the Sony was ranked but only one model was consistently identified. This model was identified as quality sound and excellent noise-canceling capabilities. Although I liked seeing the same model on lists and the white color of the headphones. There were 2 reasons I ruled this product out. I wasn’t concerned with noise-canceling capability given where I would be using them, but I did have a price limit. At the time of writing this, the Sony WH-1000XM4 was priced at $278.00 on Amazon.

Coming in a Close 3rd: Bose

I expected Bose to show up on the Best of Lists, but Bose prices are high. There wasn’t one particular model that stood out and there wasn’t a model under $280.00 on the lists.
