As we recently reported, the cost of Amazon Prime is about to surge. But clever customers may be able to get around this cost hike. Starting on March 25, existing subscribers will see the annual membership jump from $119 to $139 when it comes up for renewal. For monthly subscribers, the cost is rising from $12.99 to $14.99. These rates go into effect for new subscribers a bit earlier, on Feb. 18.
