Protecting the environment and maintaining green space is a year-round commitment in Cranberry Township.

In celebration of that commitment and in an effort to involve the community, the Township will celebrate Earth Week with special events and educational programs.

Set for April 22-27, the week-long celebration kicks off on Earth Day, April 22, with an event at the Pollinator Meadow in North Boundary Park. Featuring speeches from Township officials and representatives from the Cranberry Township Environmental Advisory Committee, the event will also serve as a tree seedling giveaway to the first 150 people.

Most programs require registration via the Township’s Parks & Recreation Department at www.cranberry4fun.com/register.
